Unkle Ho launches his second album Circus Maximus in Sydney this Friday June 29 at the Mandarin Club. Supports are Inga Liljeström live and DJs Bec Paton and Prince V. Joining Unkle Ho on stage will be his collaborator Senator Jim Shady plus Jane Tyrrell and Rok Poshtya from The Herd. Sonia Tsai from Sparrow Hill will also appear for a selection of songs.

Midnight Juggernauts are set to release their debut album Dystopia on August 4 through Siberia Records. Lost Valentinos is the new name for the band formerly known as The Valentinos. The first release under the new monikor is the single 17 Deaths, available for download exclusively from iTunes on July 17. The single is the first to be lifted from the band's forthcoming album, recorded in Sydney with Berlin-based UK producer Ewan Pearson. Magic Dirt are to release twin sister albums mid this year. The first is the recently released Roky's Room, an experimental noise album, and the second is the mini-album Beast due out July 7. Roky's Room features guest guitars from Robbie and Bonnie from Grey Daturas, Tom from Nation Blue, and Daniel Herring from the band's original line-up. Daniel also appears on two tracks on Beast. Powderfinger and Silverchair after weeks of speculation are set embark on a massive co-headline national tour. Kicking off late August and winding up late October, the tour will see them playing every capital city plus 14 regional centres right across the nation.
