The Seduction release their debut full-length album Betrayed in stores May 17 through Trial and Error. The Melbourne band is made up of former members of In Name And Blood, The Jonestown Syndicate and Ashade Apart. Fabulous Diamonds return to Melbourne to launch their new album Seven Songs on Saturday May 3 at the Toff. This show is the duo's only Australian launch before embarking on a 30 date US tour with Times New Viking and Psychedelic Horseshit. The long player is released on Nervous Jerk in Australia and Siltbreeze in the US.

Splendour In The Grass organisers have announced the first round of acts for the 2008 event. Perth quintet Schvendes return to Sydney and Melbourne in early May in support of the new single Repent And Repeat. The band will also be previewing songs from its forthcoming debut album Sweet Talk Your Enemies, due for release on June 28 on Good Cop Bad Cop. Further details »

Grafton Primary join Faker on their upcoming national tour this May. Last year saw them team up when Grafton Primary remixed Faker's track 'This Heart Attack'. Sunday, 13th

Cut Copy is on the road this June in support of its recently released second album In Ghost Colours, which debuted at #1 on both the ARIA and iTunes album charts. Perth outfit Kill Teen Angst launches its debut self-titled EP on Friday April 18 on The Bakery, Northbridge. 2007 saw the band win the WAMi Rock Song of the Year with the track 'The World Or Nothing', which appears on the EP. Essential Festival returns for its third year this April, happening once again in Sydney's Surry Hills and for the first time in Melbourne's St Kilda. Gameboy/Gamegirl to celebrate the release of its Golden Ghetto Sex EP, head out on the road this April. An Horse - a new project for Kate Cooper (Iron On) and Damon Cox (Intercooler, Mary Trembles) - releases its debut EP Not Really Scared on April 12 through Valve. The duo launches its on Sunday April 13 at the Brisbane Powerhouse with Del Toro & Do The Robot as part of free show kicking 3pm.
