The nominees for 2003 APRA Music Awards have been announced, with the awards taking place on Monday May 19 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney. Leading this year's nominations is Kasey Chambers with a tally of 5, followed by Silverchair with a total of 3 nominations. The awards consists of the categories Most Performed Australian Work, Most Performed Dance Work, Most Performed Jazz Work, Most Performed Country Work, Most Performed Foreign Work which are based on statistical analysis, plus the Song of the Year category which is voted upon by APRA members.
