After a successful run of Don’t Look Back classic album performances in 2008, the All Tomorrow's Parties curated festival comes to Australia for the first time in 2009. The inaugural festivals in January will be curated Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. The first round of artists chosen to appear include seminal punk band, The Saints featuring the original line-up. They are joined by Robert Forster, Laughing Clowns, Primitive Calculators, Rowland S. Howard, The Stabs, Bridezilla, The Necks; plus internationals Spiritualized, James Blood Ulmer, Harmonia, Fuck Buttons, Silver Apples, Afriampo, and Michael Gira. The festival will take place in Victoria over two days, January 9 and 10 at the Mt.Buller Ski Resort; in Sydney during January 17 and 18 as part of the Sydney Festival at Cockatoo Island; and lastly in Queensland as a series of one shows between January 12 and 16.
