The Drones releases the new single The Minotaur as a digital download from July 29. The single is the first taste of the band's forthcoming studio album, Havilah, due in stores September 20 through ATP Recordings and MGM Distribution. The band will be touring nationally in October to support the release of the long player.
Pivot returns to Australia this July and August, after four months overseas, to launch its second album O Soundtrack My Heart. The band will also be playing several dates supporting Iceland's Sigur Rós. After these dates, the band returns to London for an intimate album album launch at Roudhouse Studios on August 20. Del Toro launches its debut album Hydra in Melbourne this July at Ding Dong, Thursday July 17, with guests Tic Toc Tokyo and The Night Terrors. Out now on Valve, the long player was recorded in Melbourne with Casey Rice. The band has also undergone a line up change with original bassist Jason Leca, departing for China, and Tam Patton (Full Fathom Five, Nightstick) taking his place. Further details »
